Day 13

Psalm 55:22
“Cast your cares on the Lord and he will sustain you; he will never let the righteous be shaken.”

Walking around, carrying baggage weights us down. But no only does it weigh us down; it slows us down. In the bible it tells us to CAST our anxieties to God. To cast something means to throw or pitch something away. What that means for us is that we are instructed to forcefully throw our fear/anxiety/doubt in a specific direction...specifically heaven. And believe it or not, God is excellent at catching. He will, without hesitation, catch all of the baggage you throw at Him and ease those emotions. And not only that, but Jesus came so that you could toss your confessed sins out where they will never be seen or remembered ever again. And we must believe that we are not defined by our baggage or our past hurts/mistakes. Satan will try to mess with you and convince you that you are chained to those bags, but you are not. Cast those worries and bags away and find yourself walking in a new freedom.
