Covenant Community Update: (COVID-19)
June 26, 2020
Due to the recent rise in COVID-19 cases in Texas, with continued prayer and seeking wisdom from God and working within our local ordinances, we have decided to continue gathering online only through July. We are hopeful that we will be able to gather in-person this summer. Still, our priority is for the safety and well-being of you, our Covenant family, and the community.
Here’s how to stay connected:
1. Join us online Sunday’s at 9:00, 11:00am and 1:00pm in the comfort of your home or on your personal device. Stay encouraged in worship and the Word.
2. Keep your kids and teens engaged! Our Covenant Kids online experience premieres brand new lessons every Saturday at 10am on YouTube, and Legendary Youth meet weekly in Small Groups and stay connected with interactive experiences on social media.
3. Be a part of a virtual Small Group found at covenantchurch.org/groups. We believe life is truly better together, even when socially distanced.
4. Pray. Continue to trust and pray His promises of protection found in Psalm 91 over ourselves, our families, and all those who are affected by illness. We believe and agree that the virus will be contained and conquered.
If you need prayer, text COVPRAY to 41411, and a team member will follow-up to pray with you.
Weekend Services
The Bible tells us how important it is to gather together, and while we can’t do that in person right now, we’re grateful to be able to have services online every weekend.
View this last weekend’s service and make plans to join us online this Sunday at
9:00am, 11:00am, 1:00pm.
We’re following the recommendations of the CDC and government officials, and we look forward to being with you again as soon as possible.

Prayer
Prayer is our first response, not our last resort. We’re comforted and empowered, knowing we serve a miracle-working God who is an ever-present help in times of trouble (Psalm 46:1). Ask the Holy Spirit to open your eyes and show you how to pray for those on the front lines, at high risk, and in great need.
We’d love to pray for you and your needs. Ask for prayer or text COVPRAY to 41411, and our prayer team will pray for you, specifically throughout the week.

serve your city
If you’re in a position to be able to serve, we’ll keep you updated with opportunities. Each of our campuses is mobilizing to partner with local food banks, schools, and organizations to maximize the efforts to serve the people in our communities.
support a local family
donate a box
Because of your generosity, we’re able to operate our finances in a way that allows us to give without hesitation in times of need and crisis. That’s exactly what we’re doing now and will continue to do. If you feel led to financially be a part of our COVID-19 outreach efforts.
If you are unable to pick up groceries and deliver them, but want to participate, you can donate $50 for each family box you’d like to sponsor, and we will buy the groceries for you!

be encouraged
While we exercise wisdom in keeping ourselves and our loved ones safe, we know that divine health and protection is from Jesus. Let’s continue to trust and pray His promises of protection found in Psalm 91 over ourselves, our families, and all those who are affected by illness. We believe and agree that the virus will be contained and conquered.
Because you have made the Lord, who is my refuge, even the Most High, your dwelling place, no evil shall befall you, nor shall any plague come near your dwelling.
